The wonder of Graphic Notations

Written by Tom Phillips it looks at what can probably be best termed as ‘alternative’ muscial notations. Alke – thank you so much for this link! I went to their performance at Turner Sims, Southampton (Thursday 3rd Oct) and listened to a talk by Tom Phillips. The performance was stunning – so emotionally charged, and fascinating to see how graphic and photographic images were translated into sound for instruments and voice. Truly inspiring!
